CD : 493 canyon

through natural canyons
to Half Moon Bay - down then up,
down to the cold shore

where the fierce ocean wind beats
the tree trunk and branches back

sculpting huge bonsai
from the brave coastal pine trees
resting atop cliffs

Note the photo by Michael Wong on this link is similar to the beach I visited,
yesterday. Not warm enough for swimming - at least in the morning when
we went. Nice little community though. You can find more about the area

by looking up Half Moon Bay, CA.
