BE31: A Part or Apart

We all wonder during slow times,
Or at least I know I do... if I have done enough -
Those who are close can let us know by allowing us in their life.
And that... is, could be, should be... enough -
Yet for those who are further, the distance is like a maze;
Each twist and turn takes us further - and our efforts seem, not enough -
How whole can we be when our reach, our grasp, our hopes
Seem like never enough?

an unbroken circle ‘is’
has to be ‘enough’

Grounding

When life overwhelms us, it is time to get outside and
touch the earth to ground ourselves, reestablishing our
essential unity with nature.

each drop of rain is
welcome - almost strangers here

BE26: Canna Can Do

With the frost warning in the forecast,
he suggested I bring in the potted Canna Lily.
I opened the door, and brought the plant, as tall as myself -
still with orange flowers still blooming and budding from
the previous weeks heat; into my home - my heart -
I might bring ‘her’ up to the bay window until all the
Canna flowers have finally faded...

When the day warms up just a tad; it was 29 F at seven -
I will have to open the ground and retrieve the rhizomes
of the grounded red Canna...and hope that I can save them.
And remember to plant them where they will get more sun...
I did open their pods and retrieve some bead seeds -
Though I have yet to split a seed to attempt to grow it.
Treasured gifts these flowers from a wonderful friend...

BE25: Captivating View

There is a slightly hilly section that I sometimes stroll -
There are no sidewalks and the mature trees on either
side of the road give a forested feel. The road is used,
but hardly a thoroughfare so there is a about a mile and
a half of - or about a half an hour that I can concentrate
on the sounds rustling in the flora and fauna.

Enchantment

We are enchanted and enchanting when we appreciate all
of life’s miracles, big and small, and share our sense of awe
and wonder with those we care about.

These may be what I saw... but mushroom identification for me is at best a guess.
The link is its own enchantment with the variety of mushrooms displayed.
Warning: Many wild mushrooms are inedible.

BE24: Midway Misfit

Social media...
What reflection of society is this?
I hesitate to be a constant click away
From all things electrically connected.
Clearly I am missing ‘Tweets’, Text and
Constant conversation - forced face-time
That is barely seen, thousands of images
Reflecting, recording, revising, every second...
Yet, I feel I am communing naturally
Pacing myself, listening to the flow
Of seasonal changes - a
Social ‘median’

BE23: The Mani

The gift waits for the seeker -
Gently using all their senses
To find a unique meaningful
Representation of their exploration
To share with another who was not there.

The gift is chosen for the recipient
Representing respect, remembrance
...And enticing research -

The gift resonates, hums with curiosity
Gently speaking to the totality of the whole
Bringing perhaps the good fortune
It represents to envelope, enfold,and
embolden the guidance that is within...

BE22: A United Confluence (*a reverse Shadorma Summation)

A union
Part of reunion
Holding dear
Those we love
Sharing their space; witness, face
Their warm brilliant smiles

As time continues to move forward sharing the same space
as those we love becomes more challenging with distance.
So treasure that union, that reunion when you all can get
together especially when the only reason is for ‘love’.

BE21:  Right Rebel (a *Shadorma Summation)

Too many pans in the fire, does that mean everything is half baked?
I have hands that cooperate with my crafty side - weaving words as
well as simple wearable art. They have also modeled the beads which
have been strung to dangle from wrists, necks and lobes of ears.

I have drawn what my eyes have seen to paper with colored pens and
photography... yet few could say I have earned my way in life by any
of those things. One had to be practical when younger to raise a family,
to raise flags and faith, to raise respect for hobbies...

Now I read
That I have been right
All my life
Enabling
Myself to coexist when
Challenged by others

BE20:  All In

Too often while being compassionate to others we forget ourselves.
We say we will take care of ourselves after this or that, or when we
are able - take a moment or two to set the table, even when you dine alone.
Take in every healing breath, feel the release of negative thought being freed
from your aura. Let the soul-spark ignited by the extra air of a deep sigh
strengthen the illumination of the good dreams that can become your reality.
*
Thirty degrees, was the sun from the horizon, upon returning from walking -
this morning before the sky (as predicted) will release some showers. For
myself, for my health gaining stride as the years advance. Still so many steps
to take be completely compassionate with the self.
