giddy grasshopper
take care...do not leap and crush
these pearls of dewdrop

underneath the helmet
a cricket chirping.

this lazy summer evening -
song of a cricket

sound of a conscious

that solemn song longing to
dance upon the grass

  1. I never understood how having a cricket in the house was lucky ... very unlucky for the cricket ...like having a "lucky" rabbit's foot!
