hidden kaeru sighs
some do not like webbed feet
green can be jealous
of those things others want that
they have not, nor understand
green can be jealous
I adore my frog jade green
kaeru understands
some will find joy in new things,
discovery, history
kaeru understands
comes out to play when welcome
smiling with great joy

    Isn't it wonderful that there will be enough green for everyone when spring arrives! No need to covet the frog's green!
