Ik 378 for June 2016 b

Ik 378
damselflies
(renga)

the air ballet of
the ebony jewelwing
above the water

a lone male rest his body;
iridescent green shimmers

afternoon sun warms
and calms my rattled spirit;
lowers my heart rate

Inspired by: Compose a haiku in a restful place,
Preferably outside.
Karma is cause and effect. Dharma means cosmic law.
Yoga is enlightenment through movement and Tao is the
practice of acting in harmony with the fundamental essence
of everything you encounter.

Note: My haiku (or other forms) are my interpretations
or of how I might put the inspirational sentence
into practice, for me.  Also, I am going in my own order.

American renga; two haiku 3,5,3 syllables

Above and below two lines of 7,7 syllables

I do not post or return visits to "Anonymous Comments." Adding your link to an unrelated site will not help. Most everything that ends up in spam will not be posted, especially that which makes no sense to the post.

Any 'opinions' that are not introduced, explained and are unrelated to my post will not be honored. Having a 'legitimate' blog will not help - you will be marked as spam. You will have no voice here. Thank you.
