(P5) IDealist: The Tao of Pooh?

Really who would have guessed?
Dorothy getting bombarded by a tornado
Finding out that Wizards as well as their
Balloons are full of hot air -
Just like you aren’t supposed to be one -
A fool - like the one in the Beatles song...
“The Fool on the Hill” - seeing everything
but unable to get anyone to listen,
false friends, bosses, parents, siblings...
Life doesn’t stop just because you chose to move
in different circles or move to the beat of different
drums. Even after you’ve been there, done that all
the expected things - you know first comes love,
then marriage, then the baby carriage...twice.
Did all the leadership roles - sang with the
choir, even did the membership to this and that.
Tried conforming. Transforming but you can only
put aside your passions for so long. Because,
well when the world is spinning round - you gotta ride
Any way you can - so you submit something
here and there, get some positive feedback... and
then you finally realize ID was right you can write...
And you start calling yourself a poet, after thousands
of pages are tattooed with, blood, sweat and tears...
