An Artistic Dream
I spy with my little eye
a gent in a red auto
with a puppy quite cute...
Pitter patter my heart went -
I could not pass her by
that sweet glint that twinkles...
Puppy love who is to say it isn’t true?
Rover moved over - made room for Jill
Jack never did look back
They married, had children
Rover’s pup Rufus accepted a cat companion.
Jack and Jill retired to Boca.
Where they both ride around
in their red convertible on the days
when their families aren’t visiting.
