exposed on paper
thoughts like a river flowing
others’ eyes may rest elsewhere,
missing the life spill
a poets fragile ego
unseen inklings hide
others’ eyes may rest elsewhere,
strategic walls built so high
exposed on paper
emotions; stones without moss
continue to roll
