extensions?
an olive branch
without leaves is still an
offered olive branch
a postal card
with only a message carries;
carries a message
Leaves and illustrations
are adornments that would, could
be nice additions
taking single steps
is a start, a beginning
to a future
where peace reigns
and maybe even eventually an
embrace is allowed

    Sometimes in the silence lies peace, understanding and love...an empty postal card seems very welcome in the context and wisdom of this poem
