One Frogs’ Story
Kermit says it can be hard
being green out in the yard
getting lost in the grasses
people flail making passes...
After a long winter; spring
everyone wants to shout, sing -
out of doors let us go; fly
Watch! As the mowers go by
Unless you are dressed up
in your tails and tux to sup -
after a swell premier show,
glad that melted is the snow
Kermit made it in showbiz
following his hearts’ passions
You too can enjoy living
with all of your joy giving
into whatever you wish
be a chef, create a dish -
keep your eyes open and learn;
look before you leap and yearn
